Photo Shoot with Foxy and Corky at Carmel Beach, California

Last October 2010, the AFRP held Party for the Paws, which I had donated a FREE Photo Shoot and a FREE 8"x10" portrait for their fundraising raffle. The winner of that raffle was Sheila from Monterey, CA.

I had the pleasure of meeting Sheila along with her husband Dan, their Papillon/Chihuahua mix named Foxy and their Aussie named Corky, at the Carmel Beach. Even though it was a cool windy day and the pups were a little shy, we were able to get some great shots.

After looking through the proofs, Sheila selected a particular photo and decided to use it in my Happy Pawlidays Christmas Card for her own cards this year. Sheila also selected the same photo for a Christmas Ornament, Mug, Tote Bag and Refrigerator Magnet.

After receiving all her items, I received this wonderful note from Sheila:

Dear Renae,

Got the last of our loot today, the lovely tree ornament. We also love the cards, the mugs and the magnets. And many, many thanks for the photos; you were very generous to include all the extras. It was a pleasure posing for you. Corky and Foxy are interviewing agents and publicists daily. Heaven knows where it will end.

As I mentioned when we spoke on the phone, I am very impressed with the Zazzle business model. You took our picture Monday morning, I had photos to choose from by Tuesday evening, and, unbelievably, I had the beautiful holiday cards on my doorstep by 3:30 Thursday afternoon. Wow! That is just amazing! And, it is very hard to stay away from your Zazzle store where I can get order just about ANYTHING with our happy pack photo on it and know that I will have a high-quality product in hand almost before I can say "Zazzle"!
